5Rhythms heartbeat workshop about Sorrow & Joy.
Exploring the landscape between chaos and lyrical.
Tears, there are so many different tears. What most tears have in common is that they start flowing when pain is felt. We tend to try to avoid pain, but once we feel it, we release the tension around the heart and that release is felt as crying. The rhythm of chaos is a gateway to feel our sadness. And after the release that sadness brings we can connect through our pain with others in a unified field. We are all humans, our stories might be different but the feelings are the same. To be seen or to see others in our shared struggle allows us to move from chaos to lyrical. The movement stays just the same but the weight changes. We can’t change the past, we can change how we carry the past around in our bodies. There is no way we can jump to full joy if we skip fear, anger and sadness. Real joy includes these emotions, is not phony and is being carried in our whole body.

Explorando el paisaje entre el caos y el lírico.
Lágrimas, hay muchas lágrimas diferentes. Lo que la mayoría de las lágrimas tienen en común es que empiezan a fluir cuando se siente dolor. Tendemos a tratar de evitar el dolor, pero una vez que lo sentimos, liberamos la tensión alrededor del corazón y esa liberación se siente como llanto. El ritmo del caos es una puerta para sentir nuestra tristeza. Y después de la liberación que la tristeza trae, podemos conectar a través de nuestro dolor con otros en un campo unificado.
Todos somos humanos, nuestras historias pueden ser diferentes pero los sentimientos son los mismos. Ser vistos o ver a otros en nuestra lucha compartida nos permite pasar del caos a la lírica. El movimiento sigue siendo el mismo pero el peso cambia. No podemos cambiar el pasado, podemos cambiar cómo llevamos el pasado en nuestro cuerpo. No hay forma de saltar a la alegría plena si nos saltamos el miedo, la ira y la tristeza. La verdadera alegría incluye estas emociones, no es falsa y se lleva en todo nuestro cuerpo.
