To bring to the light what lingers around in the unconsciousness of her daily life is liberating. Behavior and feelings that we let hang around in the shadow influence our mood and energy. We put in the shadow what we don’t like or think is not expected of us. The shadow map of the 5Rhythms offers us a way to find expressions to the shadow-sides and when we bring them to the light we might find out there is some real goodness to be found in there.
Stepping into the shadow side of the 5Rhythms is finding creative ways to move what we normally try to hide or neglect. The shadow side of each rhythm holds an unique gift. If we really receive and unpack that gift, energy is being released and the dance unfolds into the light side of the 5Rhythms and into the light side of life.
