Experience embodiment and expression online with other men in a committed practice series.

 Join us in co-creating a community of brotherhood exploring and cultivating creative curiosity, authentic connections, honest heart communication in a 5Rhythms movement laboratory.

 We move together to feel the permission to enliven and loosen our feelings and sensations. This wave of energy we create together and within us opens into a field of safety and vulnerability.

We will get together to move and to share. We will have sharing with partners and in groups. Jonas, Erik and Arjan will alternate teaching and dj-ing, they will offer different pieces spread over the whole time of the course.

About Erik, Jonas and Arjan:

Erik Iversen:

Erik’s life commitment is to playfully awakening the body-mind-heart connection. He co-founded the first 5Rhythms Teacher’s Training in 1988, and has been teaching across North America and Europe ever since, to movers from the ages of 4 to 92 years old. Erik has taught in schools, in businesses, in meditation retreats and in reform residences for teenagers. He is also a certified Hellerwork Integrative bodywork Practitioner, and a certified coach of The Hendricks Institute of California and a graduate of their 2-Year Transformational Leadership Program. His teaching style is an invitation to discovery through creative expression and a path to transformation that is fueled by celebration, integrity and appreciation. Erik has done the Mankind Project weekend and presently he’s leading a monthly men’s group and he is a member of two other men’s circles.

Jonas Klingberg

Jonas passion and path during 25 years has been in the field of body, mind and heart awareness through massage, dance and movement, yoga, shamanic work and vipassana meditation.
He is trained Open Floor teacher, libido teacher and accredited 5Rhythms® teacher by Gabrielle Roth. With studies in dance therapy, social & behavioural science, contact improvisation and authentic movement, he has gathered a wide range of knowledge about the inherent creative body intelligence. He provides a safe and allowing space for embodiment, exploration and expression.
Jonas has been in and out of mens groups/circles all his life both as a participant and as a facilitator. He has worked with men with different culture background, identities of gender and sexual preferences, physical ability and body type.

Arjan Bouw 

Arjan Bouw has been dancing the 5Rhythms for 25 years and has taught the Waves level of this practice since 2005 and Heartbeat since 2010. He is teaching Open Floor since 2016 and libido fundamentals since 2019. His embodied heart is evidence of these teachings.
His down to earth humanness creates safe spaces in which the life force can find its way to move through and out onto the dance floor.
He lives in the countryside in the Netherlands and teaches internationally.
Arjan Bouw has a theater background and is now therapist as well. Through dance, theater and therapy he invites you to dare to be real.
